The ideal to pay for newspapers for 18-year olds is a good one. If you can get the young audience then you have the biggest consuming group.
ReplyDeleteGreat Post!
ReplyDeleteIt amazing how many people DO NOT read newspapers anymore! In the small city of Picayune most residents will tell you they only read the paper on Wednesdays and Sundays and the paper is only printed five days of the week.
It's pretty sad that the newspaper is slowly declining. I feel this will be the trend for nearly all print media (magazines and books). As an aspiring writer I can't help but watch the status of the newspaper. eBooks have replaced traditional paperbacks and with devices like the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook, the demand for printed books are declining. While technology is great, it also takes away some of favorite past-times such as reading the morning paper with a cup of coffee and curling up on the sofa with a great novel...
